THUKA by Nordwood Debuts at M.O.W. 2026 in Germany
THUKA by Nordwood proudly exhibited at M.O.W. for the first time with its own stand. One of Europe’s largest B2B furniture trade fairs, M.O.W. took place in Bad Salzuflen, Germany.
This year’s event brought together 609 exhibitors from 50 countries across 85,000 m² of exhibition space, providing a key meeting place for furniture manufacturers, retailers, and buyers from across Europe and beyond.
For THUKA by Nordwood, the fair marked an important milestone. On our nearly 90 m² stand, we presented eight furniture concepts, combining established favourites with new developments. Visitors could discover familiar THUKA products in fresh colour combinations alongside new additions. Highlights included:
- A new bedroom collection featuring an elegant walnut stain finish
- The Viggo mid sleeper in a sophisticated cashmere colour
- A matching cashmere platform bed
- The well-known Nordic house bed
- The popular Victor high sleeper
Throughout the fair, we welcomed a wide range of industry professionals and held promising discussions with buyers and retailers from several markets. Visitors included representatives of major European furniture retailers and a leading distributor from Morocco. These meetings have opened valuable opportunities for future cooperation and business development.

Valuable Market Insights
Beyond customer meetings, M.O.W. gave us an excellent opportunity to observe current furniture market trends.
One of the strongest trends at the fair was the continued popularity of oak-inspired furniture. Solid oak, oak veneers, and oak-coloured finishes featured in many collections, reinforcing our confidence in expanding our own oak-inspired range.
Another emerging trend was the growing use of terracotta and warm reddish-brown tones, reflecting the market’s increasing focus on natural, earthy colours and materials.
A Strong Team Effort
Participating in M.O.W. required months of preparation and close collaboration across the entire company. From product development and sample preparation to logistics, stand construction, sales activities, and event execution, the project brought together colleagues from multiple departments.
Our successful debut at M.O.W. shows what teamwork, commitment, and a shared ambition to grow our presence in international markets can achieve.
Looking Ahead
Our first M.O.W. exhibition provided useful market feedback, new business opportunities, and fresh inspiration for future product development. Most importantly, it confirmed that THUKA by Nordwood continues to attract interest as a Scandinavian-inspired children’s and youth furniture brand combining Nordic design, quality craftsmanship, and flexible living solutions.
We look forward to building on the relationships established during the event and to returning even stronger.
