THUKA – Danish Design Heritage Since 1949
THUKA’s story began in Denmark in 1949, rooted in a tradition of thoughtful design and quality craftsmanship. Since the 1980s, we have dedicated our expertise to creating furniture for children and young people – combining Scandinavian simplicity, functionality, and timeless design.
With production established in Estonia in the 1990s, THUKA has grown into a trusted European furniture brand, bringing together Danish design heritage and skilled Baltic craftsmanship.
Today, as part of Nordwood Group, THUKA continues to evolve – creating durable, adaptable furniture designed to grow with every generation.

Our values
Simple silhouettes, clean lines and natural materials define THUKA's Scandinavian design language. It means THUKA furniture fits easily into your home, and THUKA beds can be freely combined with the storage solutions in our collection.
The wood used in THUKA furniture is certified and fully traceable to responsibly managed forests. We use high-quality finishing materials that comply with REACH regulations and EN 71-3 safety standards, helping to ensure a safe and durable finish for children's furniture and everyday family use.
We have gone over every detail carefully so you can furnish your child's bedroom with confidence. All THUKA beds with a sleeping height above 60 cm, for example, have passed safety testing in accredited laboratories and do have certificate in accordance with European Union directive EN747-1:2024.
